Darree Fields is one of Dublin’s main active recreation facilities with approximately 275 acres dedicated to competition athletic fields. POD Design completed a master plan that programmed the final ±90 acres as well as identified the site of the Miracle League baseball field that provides a for handicap accessible baseball leagues. The program includes three baseball fields, accessible playground, the Miracle Field, the city’s first dog park, wooded preserve trails, paved recreation paths, two restroom facilities, basketball and tennis courts, parking and completion of an internal circulation loop for vehicles. The Miracle Field opened in 2005 with the dog park, baseball fields, accessible restroom, and associated infrastructure completed in 2006.
