Sycamore Trail Park is located at 797 Africa Rd. This newly-opened park was thoughtfully designed and dedicated to honor the individuals who bravely navigated the Underground Railroad to find freedom. The park is lined with plaques and stories, highlighting the significant role Westerville had during this monumental era.

The park features symbolic elements including a shallow stream-like water feature, the Big Dipper star constellation, information panels, and a sculpture representing the North Star. The development also includes a wetland feature, gathering spaces, seating areas, overlooks and landscaping.
