Situated on a little more than 14-acres in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Turquesa Apartment Homes will be the new anchor in the heart of Santa Fe’s retail district, directly adjacent to the Santa Fe Place Mall. POD Design was part of a team tasked to lead the site planning process and zoning approvals through construction documentation for the new 240-unit development. The site’s intensive topography and strict local restrictions required detailed planning and creative solutions to allow for the success of the project.

The clubhouse and residential buildings have been thoughtfully oriented to utilize the natural topography while overlooking the serene Arroyo Chamiso and the stunning panoramic backdrop of the Santa Fe National Forest mountain ranges. The clubhouse amenities, including a resort style pool, outdoor fitness and gathering spaces around a double-sided fireplace and grilling station lie above a dramatic grade change allowing for uninterrupted sight lines of the breathtaking Santa Fe landscape.
